Biography Release in Sweden, July 2016

“Ljubomir ‘Ljubo’ Vranjes came from a rather difficult life in the Gothenburg suburb of Kortedala. Against all odds, he reached the world elite in handball with numerous feats at both club and national team level with the legendary "Bengan Boys".

This is his story.

With a height of only 1.66m (nearly half a meter shorter than most of his opponents), Ljubo has won the World Cup, European Championships and the Olympic Silver. He is currently the head coach of the German Bundesliga team SG Flensburg Handewitt.

Ljubomir is the first Swedish coach to win the Champions League. Furthermore he was named the IHF World Coach of the Year in 2014.

There is still more to strive for and hopefully more to come - Ljubomir is still missing one medal, the Olympic Gold! His dream is to one day bring this medal into the prize cabinet by coaching the Swedish National team.

Ljubo tells his story in a naked and honest way, with memories from his life both on and off the field. A story that simultaneously fascinates and inspires”. (www.bokus.com)
