Farewell words

A last hello from me !!!

I hope that I with this letter can reach as many as possible!

Today I will enter the Flens-Arena one last time, and I will say goodbye to the fans, but there are Flensburg fans all over Germany.

I would like to thank the SG Flensburg Handewitt, the board, the sponsors, the office, the staff, the medical team, the officials and the fans for their incredible support and confidence the last 11 years.

My conclusion is quite simple.

We have developed many players and played good handball, which has also led to success. The results were not always what we had wished for, but I am very happy and grateful that we have experienced a fantastic time and have written a great story together.

It was an honor for me to work in this club. I have worn the jersey with pride and with passion, the club won my heart early and it was always easy for me to give 100% for the it. I wish you all the best in the future.

To all my fellow players and my boys – it´s now over 60 players in 11 years, I cannot thank you enough for your friendship, your support and everything you have done. It is really crazy at what level and at what strain you have played, year after year, and how much you have sacrificed yourselves for each other. This is not really normal, but you can´t be quite normal to when you´re a part of team and also to be successful. You are the best and you all have the greatest respect from me. Every one of you have a large share in our successes.

I would especially like to thank your families, who have always been there for you, have given you support, in difficult and good times. Please always remain healthy, happy and do not forget to enjoy the time with each other.

It is now time for us to separate but I will always have an open door for you and your families, and no matter when or where, I am there for you.
