On August 7th, invited members of the Hall of Fame and its jury, first met for lunch in the Sports Museum in Gothenburg. They subsequently had the traditional presentation of this year's newly elected members at the Taube scene at Liseberg. The event was rounded off with a banquet at the Stjärnornas Krog restaurant.

This year, Ljubomir Vranjes is one of the seven new members and commented recently by saying:"I am so proud to be a part of the Hall of Fame in Gothenburg. It is inspiring and a true honor to be included in this collection of historic sports achievements by impressive athletes.”
