WORLD HANDBALL COACH 2014 by Handball Planet

24 handball journalists from all over the world and handball fans appointed Ljubomir Vranjes to WORLD HANDBALL COACH 2014. After only four years of his coaching career, Ljubomir Vranjes won the VELUX EHF Champions League, with the team, who was a clear outsider at the EHF CL F4 in Cologne last May and earned sympathy all around the handball globe.

The 41-years-old Swedish coach with Serbian roots broke the dominance of the Icelandic coaches, who were the winners of the Handball-Planet.com Contest in the last three years. (handball-planet.de)

"I want to thank all the jury members and the handball fans all over the world for voting for me on www.handball-planet.com. I am proud and happy. This gave me a kick forward.

I also want to thank SG Flensburg-Handewitt and the fans, without you it wouldn't be possible. But most of all I want to thank my family and my players for this award, their blood, sweet and tears made it real. Thank you!"
