"I was a professional handball player for 17 years. I know that the only way to achieve success is through training and hard work. When I had to quit playing I started coaching instead – I just love the sport! It has speed, intensity and requires a high degree of cleverness both in defence and attack and it is possible to turn a game around just seconds before the final whistle, which can make it exciting until the very end.
The best part of my job is to develop the individual handball skills of my players; technique, physics, tactical understanding and attitude. Actual results need time to grow. When improvements shine through during a match, it is the greatest reward possible.
This is my world of handball – I hope it can inspire you as a player or as a coach.
